I am writing to thank you very much for sponsoring my trip to Portugal to sail in the world sailing championships and to Canada to compete in the Volvo ISAF Youth World Sailing Championships. In Both contests I was representing New Zealand in the Laser class.
The Portugal regatta was good preparation for the 2007 Youth World championships. In Portugal I was racing against the top sailors in the world. Overall, I got 68th, but in my best race I was second. In Canda I achieved a Silver Medal in the laser class. This was a great achievement and I really enjoyed the experience.
